Hi start in Ran Musu Gardens (factions)

You'll going to farm tahkayun tsi in hardmode

Build:

MO/E

earth magic: 12
healing prayers: 10
protection prayers: 10
divine favor: 11

skills:

- protective spirit
- shield of absorption
- shielding hands
- sliver armor
- intensity (sunspear rank 7)
- essence bond
- balthazar's spirit
- mending

walktrough:

Start from Ran Musu Gardens (factions) and go into Kinya province
then cast youre bonds and go right. A little further you'll see the assasin
lure everything around him, and spam SoA and SH then do intensity and then
sliver armor. He's dead in ~ 20 seconds.

Have you actually gotten a sin tome from him?? I've farmed him for a few days after HM came out and i got none. so I was guessing the drop rate will be so low that it's not really worth it.....dunno...

Got 1 elite tome and 9 times his daggers and a few gold drops.

I'd rather find an assassin boss that also drops a useful green. Since his daggers are next to useless.

build looks good however personally i would drop
[skill]mending[/skill] and replace it with [skill]watchful spirit[/skill]
that would free up your healing prayer attributes which can be dumped into prot/divine and since theres no degen and u not taking any damage at all
there wont be any difference between 2 pip and 3 pips of health regen

Well farming here is purely for the tomes and its really fast. Why waste time on other bosses that might drop some green you don't even want to?

A/E or E/A still works the best imo, but this might be a good alternative for the ones without Elementalist or Assassin.

i find it easy to farm him with a 55 spoil victor necro, run in throw up your PS then SH, and SoA when SH ends. easy quick death in under 30 seconds

with that spoil victor necro you can also farm ALL the mantids in there and kappa on onghsang island. i've gotten a bunch of gold crude axes (canthan skin) that sold for a pretty penny. feel free to check it out in my 55 necro solo guide.

You are not capping an elite from him. This is a drop and all bosses no matter where they are have the chance of dropping and elite tome.

Darkroot Entrop is just as fast if not faster to farm in HM, has an elite to boot and a decent pair of daggers ...

wow that looks like a build i made a while ago when i was farming a dervish boss outside of jennurs horde, except there is no elite, i used shield of regeneration instead of mending since it added 10 pips of regen and armor, though it does require you to click it every 12 seconds its still pretty good as a solid defense among other bosses

you can pretty much use the SV 55 build anywhere on that island where you could use a 55 SoJ monk. I love that tahkayun tsi, 4 runs, 3 rubies...awesome

How are you pulling that out? I tryed to farm him with 55 monk using Spoil Victor, but he is enchanted with Order of Apostasy and strips & kills me fast..

And as for Schnellburg, I don't believe that 'till I see the shot. Rubies are random drop, no specific creature drops it but it has very small drop rate. So 3 rubies in 4 runs is just unrealistic.

E/A or A/E Shadow Form - Death's Charge - Sliver Armor drops him in a couple of seconds since there are 2 big mobs around (his own and a warden group). He can't strip you if he can't hit you

A nifty detail is that you only need Factions skills for it.

I'll admit that it's easier to reach Ran Musu Gardens than Amatz Basin, though ...
